The suicide of Robin Williams hit me hard. He was, possibly, the biggest success story of the ADHD community. More than that, there was a lot of discussion around his death, his state of mind, and his choice. I heard a lot of questions and thoughts I have expressed.
I went onto this blog and used the little search box in the upper left corner. I typed in the word "suicide." I read all of the posts that the query returned. I thought that with the time that has passed and circumstances changed. I might feel differently than when I wrote those posts. No. It turns out I don't.
I stand by all of it.
