- I'm a middle-aged woman living under the delusion that I'm much younger. I'm married, and have a canine/feline assortment. I am estranged from almost everyone, especially after they all couldn't run away fast enough when I was first diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and then became suicidal--and dared to talk about it openly. I work with people from all over the world. What has come to light for you, my friend? I may be a trainwreck, but I care about you and I'm still here listening.
It's not about me. Hadiya's death has a lot of people asking questions about the human side of war. People who know the whole story want answers about the events leading up to her death, and as information surfaces, more people want to raise awareness about...many disturbing facts. Maybe this will be the good coming from the tragedy.
A news crew was working out among the refugee resettlement agencies earlier this week. There is a good chance the story will actually air. I didn't think anyone would care beyond Haidya's circle of friends.
